Conveniently located Berkeley has been one of Denver’s most up and coming areas in recent years. But I am now ready to upgrade Berkeley from an “up and coming” to an “it” neighborhood.
Tennyson Street is a happening scene day or night with eclectic shops, boutique fitness studios, an array of restaurant options, local watering holes, and one Goldendoodle after another strutting their cute stuff. Think of Tennyson as a Colorado version of Abbott Kinney Boulevard in Venice, CA (well, with less eclectic people watching options).
With easy access to I-70, you can jump on the highway and be in the Foothills or on your way to Denver International Airport within minutes. Berkeley Lake Park, which features a Denver recreation center and a dog park, is a beautiful spot for tennis, recreation, or fishing. There is also a local golf course near by – Willis Case Golf Course.
Modern new duplexes that feel like single family homes are prevalent in this area. Apartment buildings continue to pop up throughout this neighborhood creating a large rental pool and new and old (built in the early 1900s) homes can also be found in Berkley.
Home Prices in the Area
Average Single Family Home: $858,656 in 2022
Average Attached Dwelling: $941,303 in 2022 (This number is mostly made up of newly built duplexes)
