You may have guessed by now that Good Good isn’t your average real estate brokerage. We have a dual mission of doing Good by our clients with top-shelf service and Good by the animals we help through donations from every commission. These two core values are what make Good Good so different from your average real estate brokerage.

We only take on a small number of clients at a time so we can fully dedicate ourselves to each person’s needs. And we only work in areas we know inside and out – we like our jobs as agents but we love our jobs as local guides.

$71,947.90

That’s how much we’ve donated to animal organizations since we were founded in 2018. We donate 5% of every commission to organizations that help animals in need. When you work with Good Good, you can feel good knowing that you’re helping animals.

If this all sounds Good Good to you, let’s talk.

Katie Burns is a vivacious California native, who’s happily traded the beach for the mountains, without looking back.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Katie made her way to Colorado by way of University of Colorado, Boulder where she graduated with a degree in marketing. After college, Katie decided to live, ski, and work in a place near and dear to her heart, Alta, Utah, but Colorado and all it has to offer pulled her back here.

In 2018 Katie landed in Denver (bought her first adorable house in Sunnyside) and started her real estate career in commercial leasing, where she learned how to be a diligent contract creator, a landlord/tenant peacekeeper, and a cut-throat negotiator.

But Katie is a hugger rather than a hand-shaker, an-eat-chocolate-cake-while-talking-logistics/strategy/“comps” kind of person. So, she decided to make the switch to residential real estate – an industry where her people skills, and innate ability to endear herself to everyone she speaks with, her savvy and tough negotiating skills, and her infatuation with the city of Denver make an unstoppable trifecta for success – for both her and for her clients.

Think of Katie as your private local guide to all things Denver – neighborhoods, restaurants, and of course, real estate. And please don’t be shy, Katie certainly is not.

Katie, the founder and managing broker of Good Good, is as tenacious as a pit ball when it comes to creating and maintaining a real estate brokerage with altruism, professionalism and  specialized, local knowledge. As astute as a poodle when it comes to real estate transaction strategy. But in most situations, she has a demeanor of a golden retriever – and might even lick your face. Katie, born and raised in Scarsdale, New York, graduated from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007. After graduation she headed for the hills and became a reporter in Vail, Colo. where the beauty and the quality of life made her determined to never leave the state. Katie moved to Boulder, Colo. where she worked for a conventional real estate brokerage for five years but in 2018 decided to combine her passion for people, place and animals by creating Good Good – a brokerage that focuses on finding people homes in the right place and then donating a portion of each commission to help save animals.
